From London to Ferguson (2014)
In November 2004, approximately 2,500 Londoners gathered outside the American Embassy in Grosvenor Square to demand justice for the shooting of Michael Brown in Ferguson. The crowd marched from Oxford Circus to Parliament Square, chanting slogans such as “Hands Up, Don’t Shoot!”, “No Justice, No Peace, Fuck the Police!”, and “Black Lives Matter!” throughout the night.
This event was captured on a black-and-white disposable camera, reflecting the demonstrators' frustration with a world where some lives appear to matter less (or more disposable) than others.
